There’s a new crowd that collects around the metro station on weekdays afternoon now that the weather has gotten warmer. One of them is a chubby blonde woman who might be younger than me. I pass her nearly ever day, she stands against the wall as I’m walking to the train. I only notice her presence because she has this terribly nasal voice that makes me want to stab a pencil in my ear every time I hear it, which is often because she is always talking on her cell phone when I do pass. And it seems, she is always the one doing the talking.
But the voice… I know this voice! Because I heard it on Don’t Tell Mom The Babysitter’s Dead. Want to hear it too? Fastforward to 6:20 in the video below and wait… you’ll get the more tolerable version.
