My brother had recently gone through our aging stack of old video tapes back home. He came across a few of the old projects I made in high school and college. Unfortunately, the video and audio transition was not quite as nice, but then again, I was editing with a VCR, a video camera and an external CD player, so it wasn’t great to begin with. My brother posted one of the videos, Petulance Nondescript, I made in my 2nd year in college for a Marxism theory class that I’m sure by now has been eliminated by the politicians sitting on the board of the Ministry for Interfering with Curriculum for the State of Florida. It was my uncle’s first starring role… as Richard Nixon! It was also the first time I did any kind of prop construction, mostly resorting to just making montages prior to this. Substantively, it’s a bit too basic. But, so too can be the tenants of Marxism. Music – “Eminence Front” by the Who, “Vapor” by Crystal Method and “El Coo Cool” by Voodoo Glow Skulls.
(The VodPod embedding doesn’t work or I’d just post the doggone thing here. Click on the link).
