Day #76: Broncho – “Insert Coin”
It’s our last day in Austria, and we took the train out to the Leopoldstadt neighborhood to see the Prater. It’s an old functioning amusement park famous for its Ferris Wheel (, the Wiener Riesenrad), which was one of the earliest built. It dates back to 1897. They used it for scenes from the 1949 film noir, The Third Man.
These are a few pictures of sites around the Prater. I am especially posting for you, Compton; if we are friends into middle age, or active old age, let’s build or buy our own bit of roadside attraction.
